I live very close to the famous Norfolk Broads, but have never been tempted to take a boat out on them. It is so busy in high season, they have traffic jams of boats! 🙂

Yes I can imagine. My parents famously had their honeymoon on The Broads in 1951 and Mum always blamed her arthritis on an incident involving the boat moving when she was trying to get on or off it!

Yes it was, we didn’t realise till we moved here that we were within walking distance of two rivers as well as the sea.
