Yes it’s brand new. with a little plaque that hasn’t been written on, so not sure of the significance. Someone who loved daffodils and looking at the river I guess.
Water, water everywhere and I am sick of it. The rains were so torrential two weeks ago that we experienced our first flooded basement in the 25 years we have lived in our current house. 💧
Hello Geoff, I don’t blame you. We have had so much rain too, luckily I am on a hill and don’t have a basement, but so many people in Britain have been flooded right out of their homes and rescued by boat!
I love daffodils, so would make a point to sit on that bench. We have so much water in Suffolk at the moment, so much that we really don’t need any more!

Yes, we consider ourselves lucky compared to others like one couple in our neighborhood who had their home slip down our hill two years ago.
