We never used to decorate till the children broke up from school! I bought a tree in a pot last year, put it in a larger pot in the garden and it flourished, probably too big to comer indoors again.
We have a pre-lit fake tree that we bought from John Lewis in 2012. It comes out every year around the 10th/12th of December, and so far it has never let us down. I think that counts as ‘sustainability’ in the modern world, Janet! 🙂
