The traditional Monday when you realise Christmas day is next Monday and you haven’t done anything except blogging and playing with elves and Lego.

Last year’s potted Christmas tree, repotted and flourished, too good to put indoors.

Today’s cheerful tune is another Australian Christmas carol.

Thank you for posting another Australian Christmas carol. I enjoyed it.

Hello Liz, yes I thought it would be good to play another I remembered from school, glad you enjoyed it.

This is so true, Janet. Christmas is in a week? Uh-oh. (The Carol of the Birds was excellent!)

Yes and it’s nearly Tuesday here! Glad you enjoyed the carol.

I can’t say I share your taste in music, but I do like your photos.

Thanks Stoney, my taste in music is very varied so you might come across something you like!

We have done almost everything, but the dreaded last-minute shop for ‘Fresh stuff’ is looming on Satuday. Even in a small Norfolk town, we will be lucky to get a parking spot at any of the supermarkets on the last weekend before Christmas. My wife loves this time of year, but I dread all the stress. I just want it to be the 27th, and for it all to be over.
Best wishes, Pete.

Ha ha Pete, yes the mere words fresh stuff fill one with dread. I’m getting a box of heavy stuff delivered by our lovely greengrocer, which leaves Saturday to walk to the greengrocers and buy everything I forgot.

I did not waste any time on Blogging or commenting but did manage to accomplish nothing except putting together a 1000 piece Christmas puzzle and binging on two seasons of The Gilded Age.

One thousand pieces, that sounds amazing to one who only manages to get four corners and two edges done.

I do not even like doing puzzles but feel a compulsion to do them and take a picture when completed for the person who gifted it to me.
