You know Spring is in full flight when graveyards brighten up…

When green avenues appear,

Buses go topless,

Flowers and festivals appear,

Flowers open,

Coffee bars pop up,

Life bubbles away,

The Ferry is afloat and…

Fun is in the air.
What do you like best about spring?

Definitely, more sunshine and warmer temps. Of course, the greening of the grass, the beauty of flowers and the pretty girls decorating the sidewalks everywhere 😉

In the spring, I love that brief sensation that everything is new and everything is possible.

Yes Becky, spring is brief; summer is fun, but the freshness is gone.

Mud season lasts for about a month, so we are very happy to see it go!

The parade of spring flowers, and comparing it to previous years. Also the freshness, as others have said.

Yes Audrey, every spring is different as the preceding weather has often been different.

The novelty of being able to take my lunch to eat outside and not shiver!

Yes I love eating outside, though it takes a while to pick the right spot, not too sunny, not too shady..

I am lucky enough to have lots of sitting spaces and trees for shade so it is easy to find a good spot.

I like it best when it isn’t raining, whatever the season. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
