Hello Robbie, the flower is not real, but yes I think it is a peony – inside Russell Coates museum, originally the Victorian house the mayor of Bournemouth had built for himself and his family.
Your August looks prettier than mine, although we both haven’t seen much sun – since June here. July was a write-off. I need a vacation somewhere where I get some summer instead of grey skies and clammy humidity with on and off rain. Pathetic. 😦
