Brussels sprouts, not the sprouted seeds (which is what I thought the photo showed, until I looked again). Definitely Brussels.

Yes it is a strange name really. sometimes our greengrocer has the sprouts on their original stalk – sprouts on a stick.

Oh! (forehead smack) I’ve only seen bean sprouts referred to as “sprouts.”

Putting up Christmas decorations inside as I type this, and the music here definitely added to the spirit of doing so. I love me some sprouts as well…any time of year.
