I think the London skyline changes all the time Liz. It was too far away to recognise any building, but the viewpoint map confirmed we were looking at London.
No, Farnborough was my destination to meet up with family for a weekend away. But by coincidence we used to live near there and Dad spent five years commuting up to Waterloo. In the early sixties steam trains were on that line and I loved them. I expect that is rewilding by the tracks!
I don’t recognize the city, but the view is pretty.

I thought it might be, but I don’t know the London skyline except for the Gerkin.

We only knew for sure Carol as there was a sightseeing map, not to mention unlikely to be any other big city. The distant view was rather surreal.

That footprint though.

Were you on your way to visit London? That station could do with some weeding next to the tracks! 😊
Best wishes, Pete.

Hello Robbie. I love heather and have some in my garden, but that can’t compare to swathes of heather in the wild.
