Since early September I have often been AWOL from WeirdPress with assorted family staying and going on trips. Fortunately my sister is also a writer and always comes to my writers’ group when she stays, so we both did some writing. I took plenty of photos in strange places and we met plenty of weird people, so plenty of blogger fodder. In the meantime here are a few highlights. Can you guess where we might have been?

You always take such intriguing photos for us!

Great pictures! Well I know you have at least been through Lincoln👍, as that is my home city & I recognise the picture of the river next to the Waterside Centre, with the Art overhanging. Also that is Lincoln Cathedral, with a view from the Hotel, which is now called the ‘Lincoln Hotel’ I believe…it used to be called the ‘Eastgate Hotel’. That is the only two I recognise. Kind regards…Jay😊

Yes one of my favourite cities and my son and family live there. Half of them had Covid so then we had to book a hotel and managed to get two nights in ‘The Lincoln’. Look out for more about Lincoln soon.

Lincoln of course, and the London Underground. I wasn’t expecting Wolverhampton though, so the station sign threw me. (My ex-sister in law lived in Penn, a suburb of Wolverhampton. Not one of my favourite places in England…)
Best wishes, Pete.

Your fascinating perspective is always enjoyable! Yay for camera phones. I can’t wait for 2050. I will be 103.

I’ll put that on my 2050 calendar. How did I ever manage without a camera phone?
