A lovely post, Janet. Is it hot and dry where you are? Both London and Brussels were in drought conditions during my visits.

Hello Robbie, yes it is, but we have had sea breezes most of the time and I know we are cooler than lots of places.

It certainly is Darlene, with enough shade and running water for a hot day.

The church and surrounds was my favorite part of the stroll.

Lovely Christchurch!
I avoid the ducking stool, lest I be mistaken as a Lancashire witch…
I’m up near Pendle at the moment. It could be self-incriminating 🙂
Lovely photos, as ever, and such beautiful weather!

Hello Jaqueline, alas I’ve yet to see anyone being ducked.

I’m curious about the purpose of the double yellow line circling the little building with the yoga sign. Are autos allowed to drive on those narrow streets? And if so, do drivers respect those lines and would they scrape the side of the building with their mirrors if the line weren’t there to suggest they keep their distance?
What a great stroll! Thanks for transporting me.

Hello Judy, double yellow lines mean NO parking at all. I’m always amused to see that.

That looks a lovely walk Janet – hopefully early or late enough to avoid the worst of the heat!
