Summer break with visitors…. who knows what might appear on my blogs…

When your pansies get angry…

I didn’t even know you could get a kit for making pine martens.

He just wants a hug.

‘One for sorrow’ – this magpie knows the old rhyme.

Helpful advice when you buy a new lightweight folding chair. Don’t stand on it naked.

If you play games, have you heard of Split Fiction? Cyberson explained it to me and we watched a video clip – half my family love playing it. The story premise must have been thought up by an Indie author. Two writers have been invited along to a publishing house to get their first book published. But the plan is to put each writer in a bubble and steal their ideas. Something goes wrong and two writers end up in the same bubble and find themselves in each other’s novels… so far so interesting, but I lost the plot when they turned into sausages!? Tell us if you have actually played.

What on earth might this be about?
More mishaps in self publishing coming soon….

I have not played Split Fiction but I have stood on a chair in the prohibited manner (even though a ladder was nearby) and cracked my ribs in the fall. So idiots like me do need such a warning sign. Pandemonica sounds very promising.

Hello Geoff, hmm I can imagine your disastrous fall!
Hopefully Pandemonica will be a good read, I just have to remember what I called it and how to spell it! Ps, I am reading your baseball novel, I can’t picture the sporting action, but can picture the squelchy mustard!

The Triceratops was alway my favourite dinosaur as a child. (I had rubber model ones) It looked like a rhino with an extra horn, and its shirt collar turned up.
It’s a no to split fiction from me, but I did just buy a Kindle version of your book!
Best wishes, Pete.

given the delightful but hugely energetic character of the Pine Marten, i’m not sure I’d want to venture into purchasing a kit to make them 😀 Mike

Hello Carol, so far no bloggers have owned up to playing Split Fiction!
The Dino has been at the garden centre for a fair few months and I have yet to see anyone turn up at the checkout with a gorilla, deer or any of the other huge expensive statues they sell.
