I too volunteer to provide a forever residence for that nutcracker fellow! As for the question of the day, I am as ready for the next quarter of a century as I ever will be, Janet.😉

Hello Bruce. I would have taken him home myself, but I did not think I could manage him on the bus.

Another quarter of a century would mean I lived to be 103. And that would clearly be more amazing than my previous three quarters!

Hello Geoff, quite amazing, but not totally, lots of people get past 100.
Alas, you won’t get a birthday card from King Charles.

No, I’m not ready for the next quarter century, if I live that long.

Seventy-five metres! I thought maybe 10.
It will be interesting to see if the next 25 years zip by as quickly as the last set (if I’m around that long).

I know Audrey, seems only yesterday we were talking about the new millennium.

I was well out on the metres of lights. I guessed 25! Good fun, Janet.
Best wishes, Pete.

Thanks Pete, you were right in a way as it is a reel for 25 metres of cable! Neighbour’s idea of a collaboration. They had 100 metres. Photos did not do justice to how Bright they were!

Happy New Year! I’m never ready, but that’s part of the fun?

Thanks Robbie, yes a lot of lights and next door had 100 metres and we linked them together and neighbour went up the long ladder and tied them to the top of our houses and we trailed them round the fences and walls…

I am ready for the next 25 years but are they ready for me? Will I make it to my 100th Birthday?

Yes I expect you will. Statistically many people are getting to a hundred. Will we get a birthday card from King William? What the next quarter of a century holds for us is another matter!

I am not fussed about a card from the King but I do hope there is a worlds worth living in by then and that I am able to enjoy it.
