  1. I dodn’t guess it was a wooden hippo, but I love it! When I lived in London, I used to like to go to exhibitions at the Portrait Gallery, which was near where I worked. (From 2001-2012) Also any exhibition of an artist whose works I admired, like Frida Kahlo, or Tamara de Lempicka. The Hayward Gallery on the South Bank was usually really good for an impromptu visit too, I once popped in there on the offchance to discover a wonderful feature of the huge paintings of pop-art legend Roy Lichtenstein.

    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. I haven’t been to a museum for ages but thought I would visit the local one in Carmarthen. It is shut while the floor is repaired! I do visit art galleries (commercial) in Cardigan from time to time but can very rarely any of the works on display other than greetings cards!

  3. What a fabulous museum! Great photos to bring us along with you. I love going to museums but seldom do. My favorite are art museums. I could stand and look at a painting for hours, if allowed (and perhaps have a snack to bring along.) 🙂
