  1. I wouldn’t pay that much for a beach hut I couldn’t stay in all year round and had to use an outside toilet and shower block into the bargain. As I often say, some people just have too much money, and don’t know what to do with it. They could spend it on something useful, like buying an inshore lifeboat for the RNLI. Best wishes, Pete.

B Class Atlantic 85 Rigid Inshore Lifeboat (8.44m): Approximately £322,000. This is the standard rigid-hulled inflatable (RIB) lifeboat for inshore rescues.’

  2. Here we call them tiny homes…but ours have bathrooms and kitchens and they’re on a chassis so they can be easily moved. I think a nice cup of hot coffee would be essential for a walk on that chilly looking beach.

    1. Hello Judy, I like the sound of tiny homes, which actually must be like our caravans which people like to tow to different caravan sites. There are three coffee stops on this walk, all welcome.

      1. Oh, no. We have caravans of all sizes with more amenities than my house has. Here they’re called motorhomes, or if it’s a towed trailer it’s called an RV. The last time I camped in an RV park, in my little pop-up trailer, the behemoth parked next to my space, had a big screen TV on the OUTSIDE. I suspect they cost as much as the beachside cabins in your photos…and of course, they have bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs.

      2. I think we also have a variety of camper vans though not quite so big as they wouldn’t fit on our roads! One day we were driving behind an old caravan being towed and it started swaying. Luckily all drivers slowed down as the caravan somersaulted into a ditch on the side of the road, taking the car with it! The driver got out unblemished.

  3. I love the IDEA of a beach hut but doubt if I would get enough use from it to buy one and certainly not at that price. I do like a walk by the sea though.
