    1. Hello Robbie, no I did not guess a mangle. I can remember my grandmother had a mangle, not like that one, just a handle to turn and great big rollers, not like the neater wringer my mother had.

  1. Every once in a while, it’s lovely to go to the top of the Smith Tower in Pioneer Square in Seattle–on a day when no tourists are there–like a random Tuesday in March or September when it’s raining. It’s so nice to sip a drink and look out over the Puget Sound.

  2. I had no idea that was a mangle. On dreary days I don’t really like going out, but when I still had Ollie I had to go out seven days a week, whatever the weather. After 12 years of that, I like the luxury of being able to choose my ‘excursion weather’.
