I’m back home with new pictures and new blogs …sometime… In the meantime here are a few snaps celebrating the fun of train travel and trying to capture amazing buildings that my parents and grandparents would not have seen on their commute to the office in London.

Citrus?

Two Dimensional?

How would you like a balcony here?

Would you like to live or work in any of these buildings? Perhaps you do!

I prefer terra firma
More firma less terror.

That last shot of buildings looks a lot like much of the apartment housing that has popped up around our area in recent years. Those “Citrus” buildings do have some beautiful color on them. I myself wouldn’t mind hanging out in a couple of those triangular-type buildings viewed in the background of the shot which includes people walking about. I love buildings shaped with “outside-the-box” thinking, Janet!

There are some wild new buildings in New York City – one called the “Jenga” building – based on the game where you stack logs at strange shapes…and it looks just like that1. Great fun photos!
