I always enjoy your Lego funnies, Janet.
Julie wants to put our tree up tomorrow, just so she can get the huge pile of presents out that are stored in the bedroom and getting in the way. I still haven’t written any cards!
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes Mark so do I! We had been to the Lincoln Christmas Market, so crowded we were glad to walk back up the steep hill to the cathedral, lit so beautifully, the highlight of the afternoon.
It is lovely with the decorations slowly appearing and so far we just have the star in the window. Although we haven’t had anyone fall over whilst putting the tree up like poor lego man one year the tree toppled over, not once but three times! It was a stressful Christmas!
All the trees are fabulous. Love them. We have had ours up since the last week of November. I need it up early to make up for not being with my family at Christmas time. It’s artificial so no needles to worry about. The dogs like it too. A great post.
I haven’t had a real tree because I’m lazy to care for it during and after. My daughter and her hubby always pick a real tree, pay, and bring it home. We have a fresh tree every year when we see them. The tree before the lego is really tall! Do you use a ladder to decorate it? Nice post, Janet.
Hello Miriam. The tall tree came with my son and daughter-in-law when they came to live with me. They didn’t need a ladder! I have a little real tree in a tub enjoying its fifth Christmas; it lives outside and has been a bit storm damaged. It has been decorated all this year, I put a ribbon on each day of lockdown and had it as an Eastermas tree.
Nooooo! Not until 1 week before Christmas! And no longer than 1 week after- otherwise the needles drop all over the place!

I don’t think I know Mr. Bill

He was a recurring Claymation character on Saturday Night Live who kept getting squashed–immediately preceded by, “Oh, no, Mister Bill!”

Yes Lego is very addictive and I enjoy doing photo shoots and making up stories about Frightened Freddy for my youngest grandsons.

I like the yellow tree and your photo of Lincoln Cathedral has reminded me to put it on our list. 👍

Yes Dr B I love those Australian Christmas trees, photo taken by my cousin. Lincoln Cathedral was lit up during the Christmas market.

A ribbon on each day of the lockdown? Our lockdown started on March 14, 2020. I like the name Eastermas tree.
