Come along on a camera club outdoor shoot.

Never mind the weather, never mind the rain…

Time Machine or

…bicycle?

What will you see?

Who will you see…

Under the lamplight?

Tidalscribe has changed her profile picture.

Nearly there…

Time for a break

Where will you sit?

There is something about the second photo that is very appealing.

Hello Liz, yes misty rain and street lights make for good photos.

Is that the Spyglass I see before me?!
I love your photos. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks Jaqueline. The photos were all taken in Southbourne Grove and in the Ludo Lounge.

I spotted Southbourne Grove, but thought the sign looked familiar from the Spyglass.
If Ludo Lounge is dog friendly, we might have to visit next time we’re there. Sometimes, we stay at King’s Park, which is only around the corner!
Have a great weekend! xx

Hello Jacqueline. Yes the Ludo Lounge is a must, used to be Woolworths. Were you in King’s Park recently. I walk that way to and from the Littledown Centre twice a week and saw a big green truck…

The big green truck is almost definitely us! 🙂
If you see us again and fancy a cuppa, give us a knock. We should be back in the area in a few weeks.

So I wasn’t seeing things, that is a fascinating stretch with a variety of homes on wheels. I might see four dogs running round Kings Park then.

It’s highly likely you’ll see The Fab Four running around King’s Park! You’ll have to be quick to see The Terrible Two, though, Rosie and Lani… 🙂

That sevond capture is just lovely.🥰

Thanks Arlene. The torrential rain we had during the day was replaced by gentle misty rain which makes for atmospheric photos.

The one before the last photo is interesting. What is that place?

I love this spot. The photo was taken in our local fun Ludo Lounge, family bar and restaurant with very interesting décor. This cosy nook is under the staircase and perfect for writers to sit or couples.

I would love to have my coffee and do my writing in this spot.

Janet, the extra day every four years does feel like a ‘win’, doesn’t it? A lovely set of atmospheric photos and the pretty tea pot and cuppa look very inviting! 😀

Thanks Annika, we all got better photos than we were expecting.

I rarely venture out at night these days, and never in the rain. You did very well to capture the night-time atmosphere, though the busy wallpaper in that ‘nook’ would give me a headache! :)
Best wishes, Pete.

Hello Pete, I avoid some of the camera club outdoor shoots, especially the weather we’ve been having, but as this one was close to home and we had the Ludo Lounge to retreat to, I ventured out. All of the Ludo Lounge ( used to be Woolworths ) has that wallpaper, fun décor, but I would not want it at home!

You could even recycle this for a Halloween post!
