Hello Stevie, yes we used to walk that path when we came down for mid week breaks and thinking where we would live after my husband had done his thirty years in The Met.
Hello Judy, yes it’s one of three cliff lifts we have in Bournemouth, but alas this one has been out of use for ages due to the cliff sliding! You can see the buckled rail. I’ll take some pictures of the working ones soon. I have been on some more dramatic cliff lifts such as Hastings and Lynmouth. I better look those up in my photo albums.
Wow what a stunning blue sky …

Hello Carol, after complaining most of the winter about grey days, we apparently had the warmest March ever, but more importantly, blue sky days.

Yes I still get a surprise after twenty years living here to leave the shops and houses behind and see the sea.

Yes Esther, Southbourne Grove is busy and fun, but walk a short way to the cliff top and it is a different world.

Yes you certainly would Pete. The good thing about the coast is you can theoretically keep walking forever.
