  1. Victoria BC had similar painted sculptures of orcas (killer whales) in several different places years ago, but I don’t remember whether there was a “whale trail.” And the municipality where I live (Oak Bay) has had art works on display in recent years, with a period during which people could vote for their favourites. The work with the most votes would be purchased as a permanent public art. Some fine works have been acquired through this process.

  2. No, I’ve never followed any art trails, didn’t know what one was until tonight! But thank you, my friend, for reminding me that there is still beauty in this world. Sometimes I forget that. I LOVED these photos!!!

  3. We had the elephant trail in London in 2010. I didn’t get obsessed with seeing them all, but because of where I lived and worked, I did manage to see almost half of them.

    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. Your pictures are fabulous. We have several towns in our county which have become well known for their building art. I’ve seen a lot of them, but definitely not all. I don’t think we have an official art trail. 🙂
