When you let your partner pick your holiday hotel.

When your wish for a pony comes true at last.

Which is your garden – rewilding or OCD?

When you wonder if it was a good idea to have coffee at the garden centre.

Artist denies paintings were actually done by his toddler.

Scientist close to bringing back extinct species…

Our garden is rewilding–but not on purpose.

Which of course is the good thing about rewilding, no effort.

That’s a good way of looking at it!

Me neither and now we have a dog who we should have named “Digger” instead of Saangchai it looks even more wild….suppose we could make it into a golf course…lol

Does Saangchai get on with the kittens?

Lily’s Oscar he does but Oscar is very laid back…the two little kittens …Luna is ok… Shadow arches his back so I’ll leave intros for now I’m going to wait until Oscar and Luna go home and then I will introduce Shadow and Saangchai again…

My garden is somewhere between those extremes. Parts of it try to rewild, but I get out there and referee.

Yes Audrey I have found I need to do that. I have also realised that daises don’t like rewilding, they prefer being mowed so they can pop up again without being lost among tall grass.

I think most of us gardeners would love to have the OCD garden but just can’t force ourselves to pull the poppies out before they go to seed. Hence, my vegetable garden appears to be more of a re-wilding thing than neatly planted rows.

You can call your vegetable garden a cottage garden, our forebears used to plant vegetables among flowers to attract insects that would eat tiny bugs before they attacked the vegetables.

I’m sure that the Doctor Who themed hotel would attract legions of fans. Is that close to you, Janet?
Best wishes, Pete.

Hello Pete, yes it’s on my bus route into Bournemouth, Lansdowne. I tried looking it up, but could only find pictures of the hotel when it was boring! I don’t even know if it’s a hotel or perhaps become flats.

Thanks Robbie. I take photos of everything then wonder what to do with them!

We take credit for rewilding but it only results from procrastination.

My husband has decided that if we’re going to care for plants, they’d better be edible. Most recently he planted tomatoes 😋

Home grown tomatoes are the best!
