I have been away from the Blogosphere and dipping into real life. Here are some surreal pictures which should hopefully give you no idea where I have been and what new things I may have discovered. Let us know if you can guess any clues.
Silly September Saturday – Where, What and Why?
Lovely, where else would a beach writer be?!
Love those houses in the background of the last picture!

“Escape only” made me laugh. I love the insect hotels, the locomotive is particularly charming.

Yes me too, still pondering what one might need to escape! The insect hotels are more artistic than the ones in my garden.

Margate? I think that is where the TS Eliot sign is, and it all feels like seasidey Kent. My cousin lives in Whitstable, so I have been to Margate a few times.
Best wishes, Pete.

Okay, I’m not British, so unfamiliar territory. But I did love the TS Eliot toilets, and I did detect a beach hut. 😁

Hello Debby, most of the pictures are Margate, Kent, with the shelter where TS Eliot wrote ‘The Wasteland’. The Toilet mural is in the railway station toilets.

Wow, that’s fantastic, TS in the toilet. and wrote in the tiny house. Fantastic! 🙂

Great pics. Brighton? Sorry, it’s the only ‘beach’ city I know about. 🙂

Hello, no not Brighton, Brighton has pebbles. This is Margate in Kent.

“Escape only” is like escape from your life’s problems by drowning in the ocean kind?

Hello Ajanta, it could be, or more likely you climb up it if you are caught by an incoming tide!
