I am one who truly appreciates beach sand much more in the “off-season.” No crowds upon them. Just. Sand.😊 LikeLiked by 2 people Reply
Yes indeed, when we were originally moving to the seaside people said ‘What about in winter?’ Yes, that is a good reason for living by the sea. LikeLiked by 2 people Reply
That’s so funny, Janet – people said exactly the same to us! And winter is my favourite time at the beach. You still get those beautiful days, but there’s no one around 🙂 LikeLiked by 1 person
I love the beach in winter. Especially on chilly blue-sky days like that one. If I hadn’t still been down with this seemingly endless Flu, I might well have gone to Wells Next The Sea yesterday, but I need to stay inside in the warm at the moment. Best wishes, Pete. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Or it could be Silence of the Sands. 🙂 Lovely photos. I’d love to be there! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Thanks Marsha, I think that title could be perfect for another sandy blog. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
Ha ha Debby, there was a bitter wind from the east that day, Xmas day, but the Xmas morning swimmers had still been in apparently. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply
