The carvings look like chainsaw art? Augmented reality in a nature reserve is just WRONG.

Hello Liz, yes Tom Harvey does chainsaw art. I did see him in the summer, but there was a fence round him so I couldn’t get close enough to take a quick snap.
I first heard of augmented reality, or some such when my friend told me she had an app on her phone to see dinosaurs walking around on the downs on the Isle of Wight, where in more recent times Alfred Tennyson strode.

Those are beautiful carvings, and I even guessed the stag beetle! No augmentation is needed in nature. In fact, it’s a terrible idea.
