It took me a long time to sew a tapestry of my garden, but it looks a lot better than the real thing.

Our ‘heatwave’ has cooled, but it’s warm enough to swim in the sea. Perhaps you prefer to leave the beach and find somewhere greener.

Out in the wilds?

Perhaps not…

But if you wander down here you are unlikely to be seen again.

Do you prefer a sea swim or a walk in shady woods?

Beautiful photos Janet. Love them all.🌿🍂

Yes John, so do I.

The tapestry is lovely. I recognised your garden immediately. But, I have to ask … Was that picture generated by AI or have you really created a wonderful wall-hanging?

Alas I confess it was a brief foray into ChatGPT!

A shady walk in the woods. The sea in New England is much too cold for me now, although I loved it when I was a kid.

Yes we used to be in the sea while my parents sat on deck chairs in coats with rugs over their knees and they were still in their thirties then!

Of the two, I would choose a walk in the shady woods!

A woodsy walk followed by a beach one (ankle deep).

Good choice Audrey. Further along from my beach spot we have some very woody ‘chines’ you can walk through up from or down to the beach.

A long way from here, but we have similar spots close by, fortunately.

At the seaside, it is always a walk along the beach or promenade, but deep in the woods is equally enjoyable for me. Shame you didn’t think to use AI for that tapestry, think of all the sewing that would have saved you! 😉
Best wishes, Pete.

Yes I agree Pete, though I would be more likely to get lost in a large wood!

I would prefer the walk. Sea water makes my skin itch and I get a rash. I have to take cortisone pills to prevent this reaction. Do you have other tapestries you’ve made. This one looks beautiful.

Alas Robbie I made this one with Chat GPT – never believe everything you see on my blog!

I prefer lying in a lounge chair at a pool. And your blanket is gorgeous! 😊

Shady woods for me. I love paddling but not swimming in the sea.

You are in good company, a straw poll suggest more residents paddle than swim!
