Or eat out…. which for most of us means eat outside…
Cross a few bridges and see where you end up…At the end of the line?Or down a deep hole?May Day bank holiday is sure to bring sunny weather.holiday resorts will be expecting large numbers of day trippers or maybe Large Daytrippers. So however you get there take care on your journey. This is Frightened Freddy – don’t be like Frightened Freddy – take care on the road.
Wow! That is one big deck chair! 😀 A fun post on heading out … and hopefully not too many dead ends for people as they dare brave the world! With the chilly weather my thick winter duvet coat is a blessing the couple of times I’ve eaten out! Wishing you a lovely weekend, Janet! xx
Love your Saturday mayhem and from memory, bank holidays were mainly a washout with the weather but take heart it’s also been rainy here this last week albeit still warm…Have a great week, Janet and fingers crossed for some sun 🙂 x
Heavy rain forecast for Monday here. But even if it was sunny, we wouldn’t be venturing far. It always seems that the world and his wife heads for the Norfolk coast on a bank holiday, and I moved away from London to escape traffic jams. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Your bank holidays in UK usually coincide with our various US holiday here too, but we call them other names. Like Memorial Day and 4th of July. This Monday is nothing although today, Sunday, is Orthodox Easter.
I am trying to recall why they are called bank holidays! Some of them started off linked to the church calendar like Whitsun. Occasionally we get an extra one for a royal occasion.
My husband and I had headed out on a road trip to take some May photos. We’ll try not to end up like Frightened Freddy–or down a big hole!

Thanks, Janet! I did. I even managed not to fall in the river taking my “high water” photos.

Thanks Carol, yes we had rain yesterday, but much needed as it was the driest April ever or for a long time!

We never went out on bank holidays as one of us was usually working and when we moved here didn’t need to go anywhere. Have a nice quiet weekend Pete.
