Wow! First the Portal and now those giant eyeballs. You have a talent for the weird. On the other hand, I love the photo looking down the pier. (Is that what it’s called? Reminds me of a similar seaside structure here in British Columbia.)
Hello Audrey, I only went out to order from the carpet shop ha ha. Yes that is Boscombe Pier, though some might say it’s more of a jetty! It was longer with an ice rink at the end back in it’s heyday and earlier still had a whale skeleton. Its neighbour Bournemouth Pier is more traditional, pictures coming soon.
Yes Pete I have no doubt some people will wonder how much ratepayers’ money the council is spending instead of on toilets and housing, but young artists need support, people like being brightened up and photographers need things to photograph. We do have an Arts University and theatre groups for youngsters and writing festivals.

Yes my aunt and uncle went to stay in a caravan at Sandy Balls camping site with their dog for years,

My fave thing about Sandy Balls is that locals talk about it without a hint of mirth.

There is a lot of ‘Art’ on the south coast these days, it would seem. Though I doubt it suits everyone’s taste. 🙂 (I quite like it)
