I think they should have a plaque for the second beach hut constructed because without a second one, the first one and only one would just be a bad idea.
Thank you for sharing the rain photos, Janet. I remember the rain in May when we visited the UK. The photos were not very good in gloomy weather. The sky was dark when we went to Stonehenge and Bath. Then back to London, my husband’s cousin BBQ in the backyard under the umbrella.
That made me laugh Miriam, I can just picture the scene, Stonehenge is no fun in winter or wet weather. When you take photos on holiday and they look so dull it’s a shame. BBQs in the rain are only okay as long as the cook doesn’t expect you to sit outside!
We have had some nice weather since ( that was actually Tuesday!), but yes a typical wet day and only the aquarium or Russell Cotes museum if its raining!
Conspiracy theory as council had talked of those particular beach huts being past it.
Hello Debby, I found this and another of your comments lurking in my spam folder! There was a fire overnight, cause still unknown, conspiracy theories abound. Luckily they are old beach huts that were empty.

Now they need a plaque to commemorate the seven old beach huts that met an untimely end.

Where’s the sweet treat and hot beverage reward for wandering around in all that rain?

This time it was an unexciting halloumi roll, not very photogenic.

Yes inevitable, I feel sorry for families and wet weather usually means spending more money.

You really pictured a typical miserable day in England. I read about the beach hut fires on the BBC website. Do they think it was deliberate?
Best wishes, Pete.

Oooh, quite a lot of rain. It’s a good thing there are lots of indoor activities in London. When it rains in SA, there is absolutely nothing to do.

Yes that’s for sure Robbie, but not a lot under cover in Bournemouth…

Hello Hazel, yes that is the Bourne Stream on its way to the sea. That is how Bournemouth got its name
