  1. Nice to see so much art for free at the seaside. I used to love the complex street-art murals in some areas of London, when they were done well. But it was sad to see them ‘tagged’ by mindless vandals who failed to appreciate the talent on display.

  2. I love that wave mural. It must be awesome in person. When my youngest grandchild was 8 years old, she did a remarkable portrait of me. She has never liked it, probably because it is not flattering among the framed photos around it in my den which I have carefully picked to appeal to my vanity. I immediately created an art studio for her in the basement and for the past six years that has been my favorite place to view art which she creates with any household item she can scavenge: shaving cream, nail polish, glue, masking tape, bobbie pins, beads, etc..

When it pours with rain they might be disappointed when they wander up, however the town centre is often packed with students and visitors and the are some interesting local things which I must do a blog about. The lower gardens are being transformed for Xmas including a big ice rink, more picture opportunities…
