    I love the hippo, though! Good to see someone has a sense of humour, in spite of everything.

    In Bournemouth, it’s good to live away from the eroding cliffs and away from the rivers! One Christmas, our house was turned into Atlantis! It was cut off by the Stour flooding, although fortunately, the house itself stayed dry! One of our neighbours had to ferry everyone in and out with his tractor! (We didn’t have The Beast then. She can drive through a metre-and-a-half of water!)

  2. I do hope that hippos haven’t been seen in SE England! Though maybe in a few years if it keeps on raining as it has this winter …. Stay dry and safe!
